Welcome!  I’m April, and to answer the obvious question – my birthday is actually in June.  I’m humbled and grateful you’re here and hope you’ll leave with a little piece of inspiration!

I’m blessed beyond measure to be married to my best friend for over a decade and to be called Mama by two beautiful, spunky daughters.  I’m a teacher and a dreamer, with more ideas than time.  I’m a glass-half-full thinker, travel-loving homebody, and lover of words, art, and chocolate.

The biggest part of my identity comes from my faith.  I am a follower of Jesus, saved by overwhelming and undeserved grace, for His glory.  The title for this blog comes from the awesome realization that my worth as a woman and mom are found in Jesus alone, not in anything I can do.  Praise God that you and I are enough in Jesus’ power and strength and deeply loved just as we are, even as He is working continually to make us more like Him.

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge–that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
